At Four Pillars Combatives, we help beginners and experienced students build confidence, improve fitness, and develop real-world self-defense skills through structured coaching and practical training.
Our standard classes are outdoor field-based classes held in backyards, parks, and open environments. Inspired by military-style field training, these classes combine striking, grappling, conditioning, movement, self-defense, and performance training in realistic environments instead of controlled commercial gym settings. When weather conditions do not permit outdoor training, sessions may be moved indoors when available.
Our grappling lessons are conducted on grappling mats to provide a safe and effective training environment for takedowns, control, submissions, and ground movement.

Eskrima is a Filipino martial art focused on weapons training, including sticks, blades, and improvised tools. It also includes empty-hand techniques, close-range striking, control, and weapon awareness.

Yes. Close Quarters Firearms Combat is part of Four Pillars Combatives and focuses on real-world firearm application in close-range and high-stress situations. Training covers weapon retention, movement, defensive shooting concepts, close-range engagements, decision-making under stress, and integrating firearms with striking, grappling, and weapons awareness. We also cover when and how to safely draw a firearm for self-defense based on awareness, positioning, threat level, and real-world application.
Traditional shooting ranges and sport shooting alone do not teach the realities of close-quarters encounters or the skills needed to manage violent situations at close range under pressure.
