Training Philosophy

Mark believes martial arts training should have a purpose.

His approach is built around four core areas:

Striking • Grappling • Weapons • Fitness

Training should develop more than individual techniques. Students should learn how to think, adapt, stay composed, and perform against resistance and under pressure.

His teaching philosophy is simple:

Train realistically.
Stay humble.
Pressure-test your skills.
Keep improving.

Train for competition if that is your goal.
